God has blessed First Baptist Church with the stewardship of overseeing many ministries, not only in Clinton and the surrounding areas, but across the world.
Active Ministries
Missionaries: Currently our church is supporting a church plant in Perth, Australia by Allen Beardmore and continuing long-term support of Raymond Perron in Quebec, Canada. We also support Ted, who serves in a hard place in the East.
KPAE/WPAE: Sermons from First Baptist Church are aired every Sunday at 7:30 a.m.
Grace Nursing Home: Ministering the word of God to the elderly on Sunday mornings at 8:30.
Dorcas Door Ministry: A small house across the street from the church which sells used clothing and other helpful items to the community.
Youth & Family
We believe that churches are responsible to teach children to obey their parents and honor them in the Lord. To accomplish this, our youth are taught biblical theology along with practical application so they can live lives honoring to Christ.
Weekly Activities:
• Sunday School: 9:30 AM
• Wednesday Night: Bible Study and Prayer at 6:30 PM
Occasional:
• Organized youth gatherings after our afternoon service.
Annual Events:
• Summer Youth Camp
• Vacation Bible School: A fantastic opportunity for our youth to live out the Gospel through service to others.
